Kylemore Abbey

One of the most impressive and picturesque castles in Galway, Kylemore Abbey and its grounds are among Connemara’s most popular tourist attractions. Situated overlooking Lough Pollaacapull with the backdrop of Druchruah Mountain near Letterfrack in north Connemara, its picture postcard setting never fails to stop visitors in their tracks. Galway Hooker Sailing Club

Situated in the heart of the Claddagh, Galway City, the Galway Hooker Sailing Club is a diverse community of people who work together to restore and sail our city’s traditional wooden boat, the Galway Hooker. Our club’s vision is to promote and teach the skills required to sail and restore these traditional boats in both our local Galway community and beyond, to help preserve our great Irish heritage. We are an all-inclusive club and membership open to anyone who shares the same passion and drive as our club vision which is to keep this traditional type of sailing alive for future generations.

Galway City

Ceardlann Spiddal Craft Village and Café

is located at the entrance to Spiddal Village, just beside the beach, overlooking the beautiful Galway Bay, Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands. Here you will find 10 craft workers designing, creating, making and selling their work. This unique and very accessible craft village, is a “must stop” for visitors interested in culture, heritage and crafts.
